It's been a mental few weeks. Starting on the June bank holiday weekend and eventually completed the following weekend, myself and SWMBO (She Who Must Be Obeyed) moved house from Moycullen to Caherlistrane, near Headford. Luckily we were blessed with some great weather, but the move took more out of me than two festivals back to back. As we all know, moving house is one of the most stressful things in life (obviously, losing power mid-show would beat it hands down as a stressful experience, but most people don't factor that one in), but buying your first house and moving into it at the same time must rate above that in the stress scale.
So anyway by the 8th June, I was sitting drinking beer on my own little piece of earth that I will own for the foreseeable future, but I was barely able to put my CD's away when I had to get the rig together for the Life Festival where we were supplying the PA for the Main Stage. Oh yeah and we needed a new 63A TPNE power distro, which we hadn't started yet. (We got it done - more about that in a later post)
